Saving
Wildlife International, "SWI", is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit
conservation organization. Our entertaining and educational shows
feature live wild and exotic animals and create an unforgettable experience
for schools, clubs, and special events. Environmental education programs
are presently performed in Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara
counties.
SWI is committed to educating people of all ages and cultures about
the importance of wildlife and the environment. It is Saving Wildlife
International's belief that environmental education should be taught
in as many contexts as possible, because we are interconnected to
the environment every day in everything we do. Our current service
is environmental education utilizing live animals (including mammals,
birds, reptiles, and amphibians) and their artifacts. Many children
may not have the opportunity to visit a zoo, let alone the wilderness.
For them, our live animal presentations could be as close to nature
as they are able to get. This is especially true of inner city and
disabled children.
The animals used in Saving Wildlife International's wildlife education
presentations come from a variety of sources including similar rescue
and conservation organizations, zoos, government agencies, and as
unwanted exotic pets. Our unique ability to travel allows our animals
to act as ambassadors for their species and all wildlife. SWI provides
a permanent home for many animals whose futures might otherwise be
uncertain. |

Saving
Wildlife International was very fortunate to receive a generous gift
of 64 acres, located in the Santa Monica Mountains, just outside of
Malibu. This location will permit us to be centrally located within
our initial markets. We are presently working with and seeking assistance
from the talent of many individuals and institutions both public and
private. Once sufficient funds are raised, we will begin construction
to provide a permanent home for our animal ambassadors.
Future plans for Saving Wildlife International include implementing
long term realistic solutions and direct involvement in international
conservation. An additional long-range goal of Saving Wildlife International
is the creation of a one of a kind interactive conservation park,
the core of which will be a museum, unlike any currently in existence.
The museum would provide a realistic overview of the relationships
among humans, animals, and the environment throughout history. |
